My name is Katia.

I am a licensed esthetician, electrologist , and permanent makeup artist. Permanent makeup is my real passion. I am originally from Russia and came to the United Sates in 1998. I have a bachelor degree in engineering and my engineering background makes me strive for precision, perfection, and symmetry; while my artistic side helps me to see natural and organic flow in the most important facial features: eyes, eyebrows and lips.

After completing my initial Permanent Makeup training in 2006, I am constantly trying to improve my skills. I received advanced training from the best Permanent Makeup and Tattoo artists of US, Canada, Russia, Ukraine and Italy.

In my work I use different devices: from a rotary permanent makeup pen to state of the art digital machine to hand-tools. The techniques I use vary from microblading to soft shading (ombre) to Soft Tap stippling and are customized to enhance your natural beauty.

I am a member of both major Permanent Makeup Organizations in the US: Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP, www.spcp.org) and American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM, www.micropigmentation.org). I also participate in many online permanent makeup groups and boards which gives me an opportunity to network and learn latest trends and developments in my profession.
