Permanent Cosmetics professionals are skilled technicians who must undergo rigorous training and certification, all of which is regulated by state laws. Effective January 1, 2012, the Florida Department of Health requires licensure of Permanent Makeup/ tattoo technicians and their establishments. Are you licensed in your state?
The Florida Department of Health requires all Permanent Makeup technicians/tattoo artists to have the following:
- Establishment License (for each location)
- Tattoo Artist License
- Biomedical Waste Permit
- Passed Blood Borne Pathogens Test
- Business License

If doing Permanent Makeup in a non-licensed facility or home.....INSURANCE IS NULL AND VOID.
